Our edit

Three short notes on how we work — what we look for, why pieces take time to arrive, and what we promise either way.

The brief

Every piece in the collection is selected against the same brief: natural fibre or honest material, a palette that lives in cream, oat, sage and warm wood, proportions that feel right in a real room rather than on a showroom plinth. Nothing arrives by accident. If a piece looks slightly off-pattern in the photographs — a slightly more saturated colour, a busier print — it didn't make the cut and you won't see it on site. The selection is small on purpose.

The wait

We work with a network of overseas partners who produce the pieces we curate. The trade-off is honest: you wait two to four weeks from order to door instead of two to four days. In exchange we keep the prices reasonable, the catalogue tight, and the choices considered. If you need something that arrives next-day, we are not your best option. If you are willing to wait for a room that ages well, we are.

The promise

If a piece arrives damaged, mis-described, or simply not what you hoped for, we make it right. UK customers also have thirty days from delivery to change their mind and send a piece back at our cost. US and other international orders are damaged-item refunds only — international logistics make full change-of-mind returns prohibitive at the prices we keep. The full returns policy sets it out clearly.
